In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and moving items to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory management. Duties Safely load and unload shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes while adhering to OSHA safety protocols. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and materials handling to prepare items for shipping or storage. Operate warehouse equipment like RF scanners, order pickers, and heavy machinery to facilitate efficient order picking, inventory management, and shipping & receiving processes. Assist with the organization and maintenance of inventory accuracy through proper materials handling and warehouse operations procedures. Ensure all items are packed securely and correctly labeled for shipment, following established safety standards. Support warehouse distribution activities by loading goods onto trucks or storage areas with precision and care. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and participating in regular safety training sessions. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related roles with a focus on order picking, shipping & receiving, or materials handling. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, crane systems, and RF scanners; certification preferred. Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability to lift heavy items safely repeatedly throughout shifts. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying shipment details. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Experience with warehouse supervisor responsibilities or managing warehouse operations is a plus.
