Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging products in accordance with manufacturing standards and safety protocols. Your focus will be on ensuring that all items are correctly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA regulations. Interpret production documents, including work orders and packing instructions, to ensure accurate packaging. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and material handling tools. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime. Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standards during all packing activities. Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management, materials staging, and proper storage of finished goods. Maintain cleanliness of the packing area, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and document all production activities accurately. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment is preferred. Knowledge of packaging equipment operation and industrial equipment troubleshooting is highly desirable. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations related to manufacturing is a plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills will support efficient problem-solving and quality control. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions diligently.
