The team focuses on helping people manage dietary needs while enjoying high-quality gluten-free foods. Role Description The Packaging & Warehouse Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Frankfort, IL, responsible for overseeing daily packaging and warehouse operations in a food manufacturing environment. This role coordinates product packing activities, ensures packaging standards are met, and verifies that finished goods are labeled, sealed, and stored correctly. The Lead monitors inventory levels, organizes warehouse space, and supports shipping and receiving processes to maintain accurate stock and timely order fulfillment. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising packaging staff, enforcing safety and cleanliness procedures, assisting with quality checks, and communicating with production teams to align output with demand. The position also involves completing basic documentation, reporting operational issues, and contributing to continuous improvement in efficiency and product handling. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in packing and hands-on packaging processes in a food or manufacturing setting. Candidates should possess skills in packaging design and packaging engineering to support functional, safe, and efficient product presentation. Candidates should possess skills in quality control to ensure products meet safety, consistency, and packaging standards. Candidates should possess research skills to help evaluate new packaging materials, methods, and process improvements. Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics is highly beneficial. Ability to lead and coordinate a small team, with strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Comfort working in a fast-paced, food production environment and following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in food manufacturing or packaging is preferred. Ability to lift and move packages and materials as needed, and to stand for extended periods during shifts.
