Packaging Plant Materials Flow Coordinator
ConfidentialA day in this role You step onto the floor with a clear plan: stage the right materials, keep product flowing, and support production so every line stays on tempo. You’ll hop on a forklift or pallet jack to move raw and packaging materials, keep counts tight, and respond quickly to operators who need supplies—all while staying sharp on safety and quality. Schedule & Pay 6am-6pm | 2-2-3 schedule $21-$24/hour (based on experience) How you’ll make an impact Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment to keep materials moving without delays Maintain precise inventory counts and keep storage areas orderly and labeled Stage and replenish materials for production so workflows stay uninterrupted Partner closely with machine operators and the production team to meet demand Monitor and restock packaging supplies to prevent downtime Complete basic equipment upkeep and report issues promptly Follow safety procedures consistently to protect yourself and teammates Offer ideas that elevate efficiency and improve processes Handle all materials with care to uphold quality standards What you bring High school diploma or equivalent Hands-on material handling experience (manufacturing/packaging a strong plus) Forklift certification—or willingness to obtain it Keen attention to detail and reliable follow-through Clear communication and collaborative teamwork style Comfort with basic computer tasks for inventory and data entry Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with accuracy and focus Flexibility to work overtime as needed Physical and work environment Comfort working in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy conditions Ability to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis Frequent stair/ladder use and continuous standing Work safely at heights over 20’ Enter confined spaces following safety procedures Use and hear 2-way radios Safely maneuver equipment in tight areas Grow with us If you want a role with purpose, stability, and real room to grow, this is it.
