Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packager and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our packaging operations. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production process by preparing products for shipment, maintaining safety standards, and supporting overall manufacturing excellence. Duties Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently to prepare products for distribution, adhering to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. Interpret production documents accurately to ensure correct packaging specifications are followed for each product. Handle materials using appropriate handling equipment, including forklifts when necessary, while following safety protocols in warehouse operations. Perform mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery and industrial equipment to resolve issues promptly and minimize downtime. Conduct heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper technique to maintain safety standards during materials handling and assembly tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and safety standards in production environments. Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking materials and finished goods within the manufacturing facility. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively. Familiarity with packaging equipment operation and maintenance, including troubleshooting mechanical issues. Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards specific to manufacturing facilities. Experience interpreting manufacturing documents such as batch records, work orders, and SOPs. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements, counts, and quality checks. Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently. Understanding of manufacturing processes, warehouse operations, and materials handling procedures.
