Package Handler

Job Summary As a Package Handler, you’ll keep packages and mail moving through warehouse operations. You’ll sort shipments, load and unload materials, and support accurate mail processing and distribution. This active role involves manual handling, heavy lifting, and work that may take place outdoors. Your impact: Careful sorting and handling help customers receive their shipments accurately and on time. Responsibilities Sort, scan, and route packages and mail for shipment or distribution Load and unload vehicles, move materials, and support shipping and receiving Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, when authorized Use automatic inserting machines and complete basic data entry, filing, and shipment records Follow safe work practices while supporting warehouse distribution and daily operations Skills Essential: Organizational skills, basic math, attention to detail, and ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting Essential: Ability to sort shipments, load and unload materials, and work effectively as part of a team Preferred: Warehouse experience, including warehouse operations, warehouse distribution, or shipping and receiving Preferred: Forklift and other material handling equipment operation; outdoor work experience Preferred: Microsoft Office, data entry, filing, mail distribution, mail processing, automatic inserting machines, and customer service experience Pay: $20.10 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Work Location: In person
