Package Delivery Driver — Independent Contractor Location: Kelowna, BC Job Type: Contract / Independent Contractor Schedule: Friday Start Time: Approximately 10:00 AM Pay: CA$3.25 per package delivered We are looking for a reliable Package Delivery Driver / Independent Contractor to deliver packages using their own vehicle in the Kelowna . This is a part-time contract opportunity for Friday . Drivers are assigned approximately 35 to 70 packages per route/day . Deliveries start around 10:00 AM and must be completed by 4:00 PM . A route with around 35 packages usually takes approximately 2 to 4 hours , depending on the delivery area, traffic, and package volume. Responsibilities Pick up assigned packages in the morning Load packages into your own vehicle Deliver packages safely and on time Follow delivery instructions for each stop Communicate any delivery issues promptly Complete assigned deliveries by the required deadline Requirements Own reliable vehicle Valid driver’s licence Valid vehicle insurance Smartphone with data Ability to lift and carry packages/boxes Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Previous delivery, courier, or driving experience is an asset but not required Compensation This opportunity is paid per package delivered , not hourly. Rate: CA$3.2500 per package Typical route volume: 35 to 70 packages per route/day Estimated gross pay per route/day: CA$120 to CA$210 , depending on package volume The hourly pay shown on Indeed, if applicable, is an estimated gross equivalent based on typical route time and package volume. Contractors are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle costs, insurance, maintenance, taxes, and other business expenses. Contract Length This is an ongoing independent contractor opportunity, subject to route availability, reliability, and business needs.
