Job Summary We are seeking energetic and reliable Owner Operators to join our team, specializing in Sprinter van routes for local and regional deliveries. Duties Safely operate a Sprinter van or personal vehicle to complete scheduled delivery routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Load and unload packages. Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures, and handle customer interactions professionally to ensure satisfaction. Maintain compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during all driving activities. Use mobile devices and route management software to navigate routes efficiently, track deliveries, and communicate with dispatch teams. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to weight handling guidelines in the workplace when managing cargo loads, ensuring safe load distribution and securement. Experience Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving, courier services, or box truck operations. Warehouse experience including material handling, moving goods, or operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating vans or box trucks; commercial truck driving certification is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required; ability to operate manual handling equipment safely is essential. Knowledge of warehouse operations, heavy lifting techniques, and safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace safety standards. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service while managing multiple deliveries efficiently. Understanding of DOT regulations related to weight handling, hours of service, and safe driving practices.
