Your Responsibilities:
• Safely and efficiently operate CDL-A equipment to transport expedited LTL and truckload freight.
• Ensure timely pick-up and delivery while preserving freight integrity.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs) to accurately track hours of service and trips.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections along with basic maintenance of your truck.
• Work alongside dispatch and terminal staff for effective load planning and routing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during pick-up and delivery processes.
• Manage business aspects such as fuel planning and maintenance scheduling to maximize operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
• Valid CDL-A license with a strong driving record.
• Experience in freight handling and securement.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD).
• Effective trip planning and route optimization skills.
• Knowledge of DOT safety compliance regulations.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Basic truck maintenance knowledge.
• Excellent customer service skills.
