Owner Operator Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License A Truck Owner Operator to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in commercial driving and warehouse operations to deliver goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. As an owner-operator, you will have the opportunity to operate your own truck, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. This position offers a chance to work independently, demonstrate your driving skills, and contribute to our commitment to reliable logistics solutions. Duties Safely operate your own commercial truck with a valid CDL A license, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws. Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and load & unload tools. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure safety, proper functioning, and compliance with all safety standards. Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries while navigating traffic regulations and road conditions. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods directly to clients’ locations, addressing their needs professionally and courteously. Load and unload cargo accurately, utilizing manual transmission skills and safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items. Maintain detailed records of deliveries, mileage logs, vehicle maintenance reports, and delivery documentation using mobile devices or electronic systems. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving, manual transmission operation, and safe lifting practices. Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and moving heavy items safely. Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial trucking, weight handling in the workplace, and compliance standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting in accordance with safety protocols. Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities for engaging directly with clients during deliveries.
