Cold ShotOwner Operator – Calgary (Independent Contractor) Cold Shot is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Owner Operator for our Calgary location. This is an independent contractor opportunity , ideal for individuals who prefer to run their own business and enjoy flexibility in their day. This position requires you to operate under your own incorporated company , provide your own vehicle , and manage your own operating expenses. Requirements Must operate under a registered/incorporated company Must own and operate a well-maintained, insured 1-ton truck (all expenses are the contractor’s responsibility) Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (minimum 3 years old with a clean driving record in Alberta) Clean Driver’s Abstract Experience working with the public Ability to safely operate a vehicle in all weather conditions Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Strong communication skills (able to read, write, and speak English clearly) Scope of Work Provide excellent customer service Use a portable data terminal (scanner) Load and unload your vehicle daily Pick up and deliver shipments within a designated area Follow an assigned daily route/schedule Compensation Paid on a per-day rate (contract basis) Contractor is responsible for fuel, maintenance, insurance, and all operating costs Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Job Type: Full-time Pay: $300.00-$330.00 per day Work Location: On the road
