Responsibilities Safely operate cargo vans, box trucks, or trucks with trailers to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks. Manage delivery documentation accurately using mobile devices or digital tracking tools. Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation and safety. Plan efficient routes to maximize daily delivery potential while minimizing delays or violations. Requirements Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial driver’s license for larger trucks). Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using manual handling equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients. Reliable mobile device usage for route navigation, delivery updates, and communication purposes.
