Owner Operator – Cargo Van / Truck + Trailer | $200-1000 Daily
Er logisticsAbout the Opportunity Edge-Runner Logistics Corp. is expanding nationwide and seeking reliable, motivated owner-operators who own their equipment and are serious about building consistent income through commercial freight deliveries. This is a pickup-and-delivery operation, NOT a fixed-route position. Each day presents different delivery opportunities, allowing motivated operators to maximize their earnings based on availability, efficiency, and completed deliveries. We are looking for established professionals who understand the transportation industry, value independence, and take pride in their work. What You'll Be Doing Completing commercial pickups and deliveries to businesses, warehouses, distribution centers, and job sites. Transporting everything from smaller commercial supplies to large, bulky freight. Securing cargo properly using your own straps and appropriate equipment. Handling some freight manually using a dolly or hand truck. Other shipments may be loaded or unloaded by forklift. Maintaining professional communication and providing reliable service. We do not perform residential in-home deliveries or installations. Our operations focus on commercial pickup-and-drop services. Certain commercial and industrial facilities, including chemical plants, may require personal protective equipment (PPE). Operators should keep a hard hat, high-visibility vest, gloves, long pants, and long sleeves available in their vehicles. Vehicle & Equipment Requirements You must already own or operate a suitable, dependable vehicle: Cargo van (Ram ProMaster, Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, or equivalent) Pickup truck with an appropriate cargo trailer Operators must have a dolly or hand truck, cargo straps, and the equipment necessary to safely transport their accepted loads. We strongly discourage renting a vehicle solely to begin this opportunity. Rental expenses can quickly eliminate profitability, particularly while establishing yourself in a new market. Schedule & Availability Minimum availability: 5 days per week. Operators may choose to remain available up to 7 days per week, depending on freight opportunities. Typical commercial operating hours: Morning start window: 6:00–8:00 AM Typical end of business: Approximately 6:00 PM Slower period: Generally 12:00–2:00 PM (break time) You control your availability within the operating structure. Need to finish early occasionally? That's understandable. However, earnings are directly influenced by the amount of time you remain available and the deliveries you complete. Consistent availability creates greater earning opportunities. Compensation & Earning Potential Weekly payments via direct deposit Delivery-based compensation No fixed routes or hourly wage Earnings depend on completed deliveries, freight demand, distance, and availability Operators are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle expenses, maintenance, and insurance Fuel and mileage are not reimbursed separately Real-World Operating Example — Knoxville, Tennessee During our Knoxville market testing, a low-roof Ram ProMaster cargo van generated approximately $400–$900 in daily gross delivery revenue , operating roughly 7–8 hours on the road during strong days. Example delivery revenue observed: Short-distance deliveries (5–20 miles): Approximately $50 Medium-distance deliveries (45–120 miles): Approximately $150–$300 Some deliveries involved hands-on freight handling, while others were loaded or unloaded by forklift. These figures represent historical gross delivery revenue from our Knoxville operation, not guaranteed owner-operator compensation. Actual earnings vary by market, completed deliveries, and individual operating expenses. Professional Standards & Commitment This is a professional business opportunity, not an occasional gig.
