Job Overview As an Owner Operator Cargo Van Driver, you’ll use your van and driving skills to move shipments safely and deliver them to customers. Duties Pick up, transport, load, and unload shipments using safe manual handling and lifting practices. Drive delivery routes in a cargo van; assignments may also involve a box truck or personal vehicle. Use mobile devices to review routes, update delivery status, and communicate with customers. Support warehouse operations, including material handling . Your impact: Careful handling and dependable deliveries help customers receive their shipments safely and on time. Qualifications Commercial driving, van driver, courier, route driving, or delivery driver experience is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations, warehouse experience, moving, and material handling equipment is an asset. Able to lift and handle workplace loads safely; follow safe lifting practices and weight-handling procedures. Comfortable with manual transmission and commercial cargo van driver owner operator experience, where applicable. Skilled in driving, delivery driving, and adhering to traffic regulations; able to use mobile devices for work tasks.
