Owner Operator Box Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver that has a Box Truck to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in transporting freight and having customer service skills. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all regulations and company policies. Weekend Work Available, but Not Required Flexible Schedule. Off All Major Holidays *****Must Have****** State Required Insurance US DOT Number Liftgate Box Truck Must Be Able To Lift 75-150lbs Regularly Customer Service Skills Are Required Duties Operate and drive a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and roll-off trucks. Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of freight to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in accordance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Handle loading and unloading of materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Manage routine maintenance on the truck to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with roll-off trucks, tankers, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers. Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents within the last few years. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
