Owner Operator - Box Truck Appliance Delivery

R.A.S. Logistics is a transportation broker currently contracted by large retailers for facilitating home delivery and appliance installation. We are expanding our operations and are seeking and matching experienced owner operators with appliance installation knowledge to meet the needs of these retailers (our customers). If you are interested in expanding your motor carrier business, and have appliance installation experience, then contracting with R.A.S. represents a significant financial opportunity for your business. We are currently looking for owner operators to provide experienced delivery and appliance teams in the Huntsville, AL market. The Owner Operator we are looking for will get our customers deliveries from Point A to Point B on time and ensure customer satisfaction. As your own business entity, an owner operator will need to provide the tools and expertise of the trade. An Owner Operator will be able to provide their own 26 ft. box trucks, associates, moving blankets, hand trucks and appliance installation knowledge. Requirements of Independent Contractor: Independently owned established business (Must have proof of LLC with EIN, employer identification number.) Compliant with Motor Carrier authority (MC#). Operate within DOT and Federal Guidelines 26 ft.+ Box trucks (W/Liftgate) Commercial Insurance (General liability, Commercial Auto and Cargo) Experience with Home Delivery of Appliances and the hook up of Appliances. Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Range. Appliance Installation Experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record Fluent English Flexible Schedule Professionalism is a must! Opportunity for Independent Contractors: Routes available seven days a week! Settlements paid Weekly! Compensation is settlement-based (per-route/per-stop), not an hourly wage. Earnings vary based on stop count, route complexity, and install services.
