Duties Safely operate a 5-ton delivery truck equipped for white glove service, ensuring secure transport of fragile or high-value items Load and unload freight with attention to detail, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary to handle heavy or bulky goods Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment to maintain safety standards and compliance Deliver items directly to customers’ locations, providing courteous and professional service while managing precise placement and setup as required Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and ensure complete satisfaction Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including manifests, signatures, and any incident reports Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting on the vehicle or equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness Experience Proven experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably within freight or specialized delivery services Skilled in heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or similar machinery used in loading/unloading processes Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols for transporting delicate or high-value items Basic automotive repair knowledge to troubleshoot common vehicle issues quickly and efficiently Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred; strong driving record required Prior experience in a white glove or premium delivery environment is highly desirable Ability to operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies Join us as an Owner/Operator 5 Ton White Glove Delivery specialist—where your expertise drives excellence!
