Gourd Logistics (Glen Burnie, MD) is looking for owner-operators running 26' box trucks and larger who want a dedicated dispatcher to keep their trucks loaded and their paperwork handled. We work for you. You keep your own authority and run your business your way. We find and negotiate the loads, handle the broker calls, and take care of the back office so you can focus on driving. Equipment we dispatch: 26' box trucks (CDL or non-CDL) 53' dry vans Flatbeds / step decks What we handle for you: Load searching and rate negotiation with brokers and shippers Route planning built around your home time and preferred lanes Broker setup packets, rate confirmations, and paperwork Invoicing and factoring support Check calls and communication with brokers while you're on the road Terms: Dispatch fee: 7% of weekly gross No forced dispatch - you approve every load before it's booked No long-term contract Requirements: Your own active MC and USDOT authority Active insurance on file (auto liability and cargo) ELD compliant Truck in good working condition and a clean, professional attitude Pay shown is estimated weekly gross revenue and varies by equipment type, lanes, and miles run. It is before the 7% dispatch fee and your operating expenses. This is an independent contractor opportunity for owner-operators, not an employee position.
