Essential Job Functions:
• Follow all health and safety policies/procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Adhere to necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) while in warehouse or production areas.
• Ensure food quality and safety guidelines are met as dictated by Refresco and governing bodies.
• Load and unload raw materials from incoming trucks, transport them to designated areas, and validate quantities through Blind Count Sheets or SAP transactions.
• Utilize SAP database via Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) on forklifts for efficient operations.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) in a dynamic environment while being certified in-house.
• Supply raw materials to production lines as required and conduct pre-trip forklift inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Actively represent the company in a positive light at all times.
• May also be responsible for production machine operation duties.
Required Skills:
• Ability to read and write instructions in the required language(s).
• Basic computer skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Must be forklift certified by an approved Refresco trainer.
Competencies:
• Problem-Solving Skills: Quick identification and resolution of operational issues.
• Technology: Familiarity with warehouse management software and basic computer functions.
• Cognitive: Ability to analyze data and production parameters.
• Safety and Risk Management: Participate in safety audits and inspections.
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Working Conditions:
• Shift Times: Weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required. Overtime as needed.
• Environment: Fast-paced production plant with variable noise and temperature levels.
Travel Requirements:
• No travel anticipated.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and operate forklifts.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and a keen attention to detail are necessary.
