In this energetic role, you will support the timely and safe delivery of goods by assisting with loading, unloading, and transporting items during overnight shifts. Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading packages from box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Support the safe movement of goods within the warehouse, adhering to proper manual lifting practices and weight handling protocols in compliance with safety standards. Help prepare delivery routes by organizing packages efficiently for route driving, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly secured. Load and unload deliveries at customer locations or distribution centers while practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques. Assist drivers with route navigation using mobile devices, ensuring timely deliveries while following traffic regulations diligently. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements to support warehouse operations and delivery tracking. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred. Experience in commercial driving or as a courier is highly desirable. Knowledge of manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices in a workplace setting. Familiarity with material handling equipment like pallet jacks or moving carts is advantageous.
