About the Role (Job Summary) The Computer Operations Representative supports the accurate and timely movement of customer orders through McKesson’s Ruther Glen distribution center. Working from a dedicated computer room on the night shift, you will monitor order activity, produce shipment documentation, support invoicing, and help resolve operational issues that could delay deliveries. You will work independently while coordinating closely with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, Security, and site leadership. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you build confidence in the role and contribute to reliable distribution-center performance. This role is part of our overnight operations team and follows a Sunday through Thursday schedule . Shifts begin at 5:00 PM on Sundays and 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday . What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) Release and monitor customer orders, review order activity, and help resolve service or operational issues that could impact on-time delivery. Operate industrial printers and prepare high-volume manifests and other shipment documentation for outbound loads. Validate shipment information, generate invoices, and investigate routine billing discrepancies. Create and distribute operational reports and maintain accurate data in business systems. Monitor systems, printers, and related hardware; coordinate maintenance or escalate issues to reduce downtime. Maintain transportation security, investigation, audit, and compliance records in line with established requirements. Partner with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, Security, and site leadership to keep nightly distribution activity moving. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals Minimum Requirements Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-1+ years of related experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Basic computer skills and the ability to enter, review, and maintain accurate information in business systems. Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Availability to work onsite Sunday through Thursday on the night shift: Sunday from 5:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m., with each shift continuing until operational completion. Ability to work independently in a dedicated, temperature-controlled computer room for most of the shift. Ability to review order, shipment, invoice, or operational information and identify discrepancies requiring action or escalation. Ability to handle high volumes of printed shipment documentation and complete associated recordkeeping accurately. Preferred Skills/Experience Experience in order processing, order management, dispatch, shipping, receiving, billing, inventory, customer service, or operations support. Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or transportation environment. Experience supporting printers, operational hardware, reporting, or compliance documentation.
