OVERNIGHT AND WEEKEND DISPATCHER ALSO IN OFFICE FULL TIME DISPATCHER

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Overnights and Weekend Dispatcher, also serving as a Full-Time In-Office Dispatcher, to join our team. This role involves coordinating tow truck operations, managing communication with law enforcement agencies, and scheduling future tows. The ideal candidate must be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment, think creatively when handling unusual vehicle situations, and maintain patience and professionalism with all customers. The position offers an opportunity to work during overnight, weekend and weekday hours while ensuring smooth dispatch operations. Responsibilities Dispatch tow truck operators promptly and efficiently to service calls during overnight and weekend shifts. Communicate effectively with law enforcement agencies of all types to coordinate towing services and resolve any issues that arise. Set up and schedule future towing jobs, ensuring timely follow-up and proper resource allocation. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously within the office environment, including handling incoming calls, updating dispatch logs, and coordinating with field personnel. Think creatively and outside the box when dealing with unusual or complex vehicle towing situations. Make quick decisions on the fly to adapt to changing circumstances or unexpected challenges during dispatch operations. Maintain a high level of patience and professionalism when interacting with customers, law enforcement, and team members. Experience Prior experience in dispatching or a related role is preferred but not mandatory; strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential. Excellent communication skills are required for effective coordination with tow operators, law enforcement agencies, and customers. Ability to think critically and problem-solve in dynamic situations involving unusual vehicle types or logistical challenges. Comfort working overnight hours, weekends, and flexible scheduling as needed for the position. 2 weeks in office paid training.
