Your Responsibilities
• Maintain Walmart's high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism with every drive.
• Manage your day effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with your team to ensure timely and safe freight movement.
• Accurately handle all paperwork and electronic logs while adhering to DOT, state, and company regulations.
• Safely operate your tractor-trailer, conducting inspections before, during, and after each trip to keep equipment in excellent condition.
• Follow traffic laws and local restrictions to run optimized routes, minimizing delays and enhancing delivery performance.
Minimum Qualifications
• A valid Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement (or the ability to obtain one within 120 days of hire).
• At least 30 months of experience as a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driver within the last 3 years.
• No more than two moving violations while operating a personal and/or commercial vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the previous three years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last ten years.
• Must reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to establish residence within that distance within 90 days of hire.
The assessment of preventability of any accidents will be determined according to Walmart's standards based on the ATA Guidelines.

Your pay will consist of a fixed rate per mile driven, with extra compensation for certain activities. As a Regional Driver, your mileage rate will range from $0.55 to $0.69 per mile. Sample mileage ranges could be from 62,355 miles to 196,040 miles annually.
