What You'll Do
• Uphold Walmart's high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism throughout your journey.
• Plan your daily routes, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with your team to ensure timely and safe freight movement.
• Communicate effectively, troubleshoot challenges that arise, and adapt to road and plan changes.
• Accurately manage all necessary paperwork and electronic logs following DOT and company regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections on your tractor-trailer to maintain peak operating condition.
• Navigate optimized routes while adhering to traffic laws to minimize delays and ensure prompt deliveries.
Minimum Qualifications
• Hold an Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with a Hazmat endorsement (including cleared background check), or commit to obtaining it within 120 days of hire.
• Possess at least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving experience within the last three years.
• Have no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three years while operating personal or commercial vehicles.
• No serious traffic violations in the past three years.
• No preventable accidents in both personal and commercial vehicles within the last three years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the last ten years.
• No preventable accidents resulting in fatalities or catastrophic injuries on your driving record.
• Currently reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to establish residency within that distance within 90 days of hire.
The preventability of any accidents will be determined by Walmart based on the ATA Guidelines.
