Your Responsibilities
• Uphold Walmart's high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism every mile.
• Plan daily routes, set priorities, and coordinate with your team to ensure timely and safe freight delivery.
• Complete all paperwork and electronic logs accurately, adhering to all DOT, state, and company regulations.
• Perform safety inspections on your tractor-trailer before, during, and after each trip.
• Navigate optimized routes while following all traffic laws and local restrictions.
Qualifications You’ll Need
• Valid Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement (needs to be completed within 120 days of hire).
• At least 30 months of recent full-time experience operating a Class A tractor/trailer within the past 3 years.
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last ten (10) years.
• No preventable accidents resulting in fatalities or catastrophic injuries.
• Must currently reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility, or agree to relocate within 90 days of hire.
