We are expanding our presence in the architectural and interior design community and seeking an experienced, connected Outside Sales Representative to represent our core lines, designer collaborations, and bespoke custom printing capabilities throughout Southern California. The Role As our Southern California Outside Sales Representative, you will lead outreach and specification across the high-end interior design and architectural community. You will champion Wallshoppe’s full product catalog—from our signature designer lines like Nathan Turner x Wallshoppe to our extensive library of traditional papers, luxury grasscloths, fabrics, and contract materials. This is an autonomous road role built for an industry veteran who commands established relationships with top-tier interior design firms, architecture studios, and hospitality procurement teams across the region. Key Responsibilities Drive Specifications & Revenue: Secure product placements and purchase orders across residential, commercial, and boutique hospitality projects in Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Santa Barbara/Montecito, and Palm Springs). Architectural & Design Outreach: Conduct consistent in-person studio visits, formal presentations, memo sample drops, and library updates featuring new launches, signature lines (such as the Nathan Turner California Collection), and custom capabilities. Leverage & Expand Trade Networks: Actively prospect and build upon your existing book of business while qualifying and closing house-provided trade leads. Full-Cycle Project Management: Guide projects from initial concept and sampling through quotes, reserves, CFA approvals, order entry, and installation. Bespoke & Contract Consulting: Work directly with designers on custom colorways, substrate selections (commercial vinyl, grasscloth, burlap, non-woven, and linen fabrics), and scale modifications. Industry Representation: Represent Wallshoppe at regional design center showcases, ASID/IIDA networking events, showroom pop-ups, and industry gatherings. Qualifications & Requirements Proven Outside Sales Track Record: Minimum 3–5+ years of outside sales experience specifically selling high-end wallcoverings, fabrics, or luxury home furnishings directly to the trade. Active Designer Network: An established, active client book of interior designers, decorators, architects, and purchasing agents across Southern California. Luxury Design House Background: Prior experience with or alongside established trade brands (e.g., Schumacher, Kravet, Pierre Frey, Holly Hunt, Scalamandré, Cowtan & Tout, or top multi-line showrooms). Technical Product Knowledge: Fluency with pattern repeats, substrate performance, commercial fire/durability specs, custom digital printing, and fabric applications. Self-Motivated & Field-Ready: Highly organized, proactive in pipeline management, with reliable transportation and an appetite for daily road sales across the territory.
