Outside Sales Representative, Local Transportation and 3PL

About the role RapidForce Staffing Solution is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client: an established trucking and 3PL company in Medley, FL. Our client is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow its Local Transportation division across Miami and South Florida. This role is for someone who likes to be out in the field: visiting companies, knocking on doors, meeting decision makers and closing new accounts. You do not need an existing book of business. You do need a commercial mindset, consistent prospecting habits and the drive to build your own portfolio. What you will sell Local pickup and delivery and same day transportation Dedicated routes and B2B distribution Palletized freight, airport and warehouse pickups Distribution across Miami Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and statewide Florida Cross selling of warehousing, FTL, LTL and drayage What you will do Prospect new customers every day through in person visits, calls, email and LinkedIn Visit businesses throughout Miami and South Florida to find companies with recurring transportation needs Meet with logistics, operations, supply chain and purchasing managers Work with operations and pricing to build competitive proposals Follow up on quotes and convert opportunities into new customers Keep an organized and active sales pipeline What we are looking for Must live in Miami Dade or Broward 3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight, 3PL, courier or a related industry Outside or field sales experience is strongly preferred (B2B, route sales, territory sales or similar) Candidates from dispatch, operations or customer service will be considered if they can show sales results or strong sales potential Comfortable with cold calling and walking into businesses without an appointment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for customer visits English required; Spanish is a strong plus Compensation and growth Base salary of $45,000 to $55,000 Commission on new business and gross profit Clear career path: Transportation Sales Representative, then Business Development Manager, then Senior Business Development Manager How to apply: Submit your resume through Indeed.
