Outbound Fulfillment Picking Specialist

Outbound Fulfillment Picking Specialist Location: Palmetto, GA Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor or Designee A day in this role When your shift starts, you’ll open the order queue, scan your first ticket, and map the fastest path through our aisles. You’ll select items with speed and accuracy, verify labels with your RF scanner and tablet, and perform a quick visual quality check to ensure products and their containers are free of damage. Once verified, you’ll pack and palletize to exact customer specifications, complete required system transactions in our ERP/WMS (Epicor experience is a plus), and stage orders for shipment. Throughout the day, you’ll help keep inventory counts accurate, maintain a clean, orderly work area, and partner with other teams to keep everything moving. What you’ll do Read and pick orders quickly and accurately. Pack and palletize shipments based on specific customer requirements. Complete all necessary system transactions for each order. Operate applicable warehouse equipment and tools safely. Inspect items and packaging for possible damage prior to shipping. Help verify inventory accuracy during your shift. Keep your workstation and aisles clean and organized. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and keep orders flowing. Follow all company policies, rules, and regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Tools & tech RF scanners and tablets (training available). ERP and WMS platforms; Epicor experience is a plus. What you bring Solid basic math skills. Ability to learn and use RF scanners/tablets. Comfort with ERP/WMS systems. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Capability to operate all applicable equipment and tools. Team-focused mindset to work effectively across departments. Strong attention to detail for accurate picking and packing. Drive to meet established picking/packing productivity goals. Basic computer proficiency and an eye for detail. Preferred experience 6 months using RF scanners. 6 months picking/packing in a performance-measured environment. Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. How success is measured High picking/packing accuracy. Consistent achievement of productivity targets. Clean, orderly, and safe work areas. Accurate inventory confirmations during your shift.
