OTR Truck Driver Non CDL

We are seeking a responsible and experienced OTR Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will transport goods over long distances, ensuring timely and safe delivery of shipments to various locations. The position involves overnight trips, driving across state lines, and delivering products to customers or distribution centers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Safely operate non-CDL box truck to deliver goods over long distances (OTR). - Transport products to customers, retailers, or warehouses as assigned. - Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods in compliance with company and industry standards. - Adhere to road and traffic regulations while driving across state lines. - Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT standards. - Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including tracking inventory of goods in transit. - Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. - Handle the loading and unloading of goods from the vehicle when required. - Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records for compliance and reporting purposes. **Requirements:** - Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL). - Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver (preferably over-the-road/long distances). - Ability to drive for extended periods, sometimes over several days. - Strong understanding of traffic laws and DOT regulations. - Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading when needed. - Good communication skills and customer service focus. - Willingness to travel overnight and work extended hours when required. - Clean driving record with no major violations. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience driving box trucks or straight trucks over long distances. - Familiarity with GPS devices and delivery software. - Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance. **Compensation:** - Competitive salary based on experience.
