We are seeking a professional and dependable OTR Truck Driver to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting interstate freight across assigned long-distance routes, ensuring timely deliveries and exceptional route execution. This role requires strict adherence to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety regulations while maintaining high standards of road safety and operational efficiency. As an experienced Truck Driver , you will operate commercial tractor-trailers hauling reefer (refrigerated) and dry van freight across state lines. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers hauling temperature-controlled reefer and dry van freight across scheduled interstate routes as a dependable OTR Truck Driver . Navigate efficiently using commercial GPS systems to ensure optimized route planning, fuel efficiency, and on-time pickup and delivery. Comply with all FMCSA, DOT, and state safety regulations during transit, inspection, and cargo transport. Transport interstate freight over long distances via over-the-road (OTR) routes while strictly adhering to delivery schedules and hours-of-service (HOS) rules. Perform comprehensive pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records of driving hours, mileage, cargo documentation, and bills of lading in compliance with federal regulations. Monitor reefer trailer temperature settings and ensure proper operation throughout transit to safeguard refrigerated cargo integrity. Communicate effectively and proactively with dispatchers, safety personnel, and terminal staff regarding delivery ETAs, weather delays, or road challenges. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues immediately to ensure continuous fleet reliability. Skills & Qualifications Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) in good standing. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) Truck Driver experience hauling commercial freight. Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a strong history of safe driving and zero major preventable accidents. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCSA standards, DOT safety regulations, and ELD compliance requirements. Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrated experience operating Class A commercial tractor-trailers with dry van and refrigerated (reefer) trailers. Navigation & Technology: Proficient with GPS navigation systems and mobile electronic logging software. Professional Attributes: Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, and safety-focused CDL Driver with strong communication skills. Pay & Compensation Options We believe in compensating our drivers fairly for every single mile and every load: Mileage Pay: $0.65 – $0.70 per mile (paid on all miles, both loaded and empty), OR Percentage Pay: 30% of the gross load rate Pay Schedule: Reliable direct deposit paid weekly with transparent pay stubs Driver Perks & Support Consistent Freight: Steady, year-round interstate freight and consistent OTR miles to keep your earnings strong.
