OTR Non CDL Driver

Duties Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle for delivery routes, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices. Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths and adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material handling, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and resolving any issues promptly. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update status reports, and ensure accurate route execution. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, weight handling in the workplace, and the operation of manual transmission vehicles. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and safe lifting practices. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck or van preferred. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations including DOT standards and traffic laws. Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and material handling tools. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments. Experience with route planning using mobile devices or GPS systems is a plus.
