OTR Flatbed/Stepdeck Driver

Job Summary As an OTR Flatbed/Stepdeck Driver, you’ll transport freight on over-the-road (OTR) routes using flatbed or stepdeck trailers. You’ll plan routes with GPS navigation, secure cargo for safe transport, and complete deliveries while following applicable safety and transportation regulations. This paid position requires safe, dependable commercial driving and careful cargo handling. Duties Operate a commercial truck and tractor-trailer on OTR and route-driving assignments, including delivery driving. Load, unload, and secure freight; handle manual cargo tasks and verify loads are ready for transport. Transport flatbed freight and, as assigned, automobile transportation, refrigerated trailer, or tanker loads. Use GPS navigation to follow routes, manage delivery schedules, and communicate relevant route or delivery updates. Skills Required: Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, driving, delivery driving, manual transmission, and delivery driver experience. Required: Flatbed and stepdeck operations, freight and logistics cargo handling, truck loading and unloading, load and unload tasks, and manual handling. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and dangerous goods; Hazmat experience or qualifications are preferred when relevant to assigned loads. Experience with OTR routes, GPS navigation, and route driving; refrigerated trailer, automobile transportation, and tanker experience are preferred. Pay: $0.63 - $0.75 per mile Work Location: In person
