OTR Flatbed CDL Driver

Hauling Inc. is seeking dependable Class A CDL drivers from the Watertown, South Dakota area for long-haul, over-the-road flatbed trucking opportunities. Our company operates out of Bryant, South Dakota, approximately 40 miles from Watertown. Unlike local or regional trucking positions, our drivers operate on extended over-the-road assignments and may spend several months at a time on the road. Bryant serves as our company's home terminal, with trucks returning periodically for servicing and operational needs. We're looking for safety-conscious drivers who enjoy long-haul trucking, take pride in their work, and want to maximize their mileage-based earning potential. As a small, family-operated trucking company, we provide the equipment and dedicated dispatch support drivers need to stay productive and keep freight moving. Schedule & Driving Operations Long-haul, over-the-road flatbed trucking Extended driving assignments that may involve several months on the road Recruiting qualified drivers from the Watertown, SD area Company home terminal located in Bryant, SD Periodic returns to Bryant for equipment servicing and operational needs Routes, dispatch arrangements, and home-time expectations discussed during the hiring process Responsibilities Safely transport flatbed freight along assigned long-haul routes Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Properly secure and inspect flatbed loads in accordance with applicable regulations Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, and scheduling Maintain accurate driving records and required documentation Comply with DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements Operate assigned equipment safely and professionally Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required Acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate flatbed equipment and secure loads Understanding of DOT regulations and commercial driving safety requirements Willingness to spend extended periods on the road Dependable communication and time-management skills Previous flatbed or OTR driving experience preferred Apply Today If you're a Class A CDL driver in the Watertown area interested in long-haul trucking, competitive mileage-based compensation, and working with a smaller trucking operation, we'd like to hear from you.
