OTR / Expedited Cargo Van Driver – 60/40 Split

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an OTR (Over-the-Road) / Expedited Cargo Van Driver, operating a box truck with a focus on delivering expedited freight efficiently and safely. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to be the backbone of our logistics network, ensuring timely deliveries across various routes while maintaining excellent customer service. You’ll enjoy a flexible schedule with a 60/40 split of driving and delivery responsibilities, emphasizing safety, professionalism, and efficiency in every mile you cover. Most of the freight will be no-touch cargo on pallets which must be secured with provided straps. Pictures must be submitted on every pick-up and on delivery. You will make your own hours. You will be kept busy with little to no downtime. No forced dispatch. You get: 60% of the gross revenue pulled in by the van. The owner gets: 40% of the gross revenue. Your Responsibilities (60%): Pay for your own fuel and road tolls after the first week. Owner's Responsibilities (40%): Provide the cargo van, commercial insurance, vehicle registration, and routine maintenance/repairs. Responsibilities Safely operate a cargo van, adhering strictly to traffic laws Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers, verifying shipments against delivery manifests and obtaining signatures upon receipt. Maintain clear and respectful communication with dispatch using mobile devices to report progress, delays, or issues during routes. Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously. Requirements Valid driver’s license (No CDL required) Clean driving record (DMV abstract is required) and background check Minimum 23 years of age Valid US passport and TWIC card Six months of driving a cargo van Ability to stay on the road for 1–2 weeks at a time (1 week home)Good communication and respect towards dispatch and on-time delivery habits Embrace this exciting opportunity to be an essential part of our logistics team!
