Cross-Border OTR Cargo Van Driver (Owner-Operator OR Independent Driver) Location: Montreal, QC and surrounding areas (In person / On the road) Job Type: Full-time, Over-the-Road (OTR) Pay Structure: Competitive Per-Mile Rate (Paid on ALL miles—both Loaded & Empty) + U.S. Tolls Covered Time on Road: 5–7 days per trip Operating Area: Domestic Canada and Cross-Border United States About the Role Are you a motivated individual who loves the open road and enjoys driving? We are seeking dedicated OTR Cargo Van Drivers based out of Montreal and the surrounding areas to haul expedited freight across Canada and into the United States. Whether you are an established Owner-Operator looking for consistent miles or a passionate Company Driver looking to get into the expedite industry, we have an opening for you. No expedite experience? No problem—we are willing to train the right, motivated individuals! Choose Your Path: Owner-Operator: Bring your own Sprinter or Transit cargo van and keep your wheels turning with our steady cross-border freight. Company Driver: Don't own a van? We provide a well-maintained fleet vehicle to experienced highly qualified candidates. What We Offer Consistent Per-Mile Pay: Get paid for every single mile you drive, whether you are loaded or empty. U.S. Tolls Covered: We pay for your U.S. tolls (EZ-Pass, etc.) to keep your border crossings smooth and hassle-free. Predictable Lifestyle: Know your schedule with 5–7 days out on the road per trip. Paid Training: Complete operational training provided for drivers new to cross-border logistics. Responsibilities Safely transport time-sensitive, expedited freight across domestic Canadian and U.S. routes, dispatching out of the Greater Montreal area. Coordinate efficiently with dispatchers, border customs brokers, and delivery receivers. Maintain clean, professional vehicle conditions and accurate delivery records. Ensure strict adherence to cross-border traffic laws and transportation safety regulations. Requirements Age: Must be at least 25 years old (for fleet insurance qualification compliance). Documentation: Must hold a valid standard Driver's License and a valid Passport (eligible for frequent, hassle-free travel into the U.S.). Language: Functional English communication skills (required for interacting with U.S. Customs Agents, dispatchers, and clients). Lifestyle: Must genuinely enjoy driving long distances and being on the road for 5–7 days at a time. Experience: Commercial or OTR driving experience is preferred, but a strong work ethic and motivation are mandatory. Insurance & Equipment Requirements: If using your own vehicle: Must own a Sprinter or Ford Transit cargo van in excellent mechanical condition and provide your own commercial auto and cargo insurance coverage. If using our company vehicle: Full commercial coverage is provided by us. Screening: Must possess a clean driver’s abstract and pass a criminal background check.
