OTR Driver 26 ft box truck

Job Summary As an OTR Driver for a 26-foot box truck, you’ll transport and deliver goods safely along assigned routes. You’ll handle loading and unloading, use mobile devices to manage delivery information, and provide professional customer service at each stop. This role combines commercial truck driving, warehouse operations, and hands-on material handling. Duties Drive a 26-foot box truck on over-the-road and local delivery routes, following traffic regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Load and unload freight, move items safely, and use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment as needed. Complete delivery records and route updates using mobile devices; confirm deliveries with customers. Support warehouse operations by preparing, organizing, and handling shipments. Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers receive their goods on time and in good condition. Qualifications Required: Valid driving credentials appropriate for the vehicle and applicable regulations; safe driving practices and ability to follow DOT rules. Preferred: Commercial driving, commercial truck driving, delivery driver, courier, van driver, route driving, or personal vehicle delivery experience. Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment are helpful. Able to perform manual handling, moving, and load-and-unload tasks, including heavy lifting and workplace weight handling, using safe lifting practices. Customer service skills, attention to detail, and comfort using mobile devices; manual transmission experience is a plus.
