Operate OTR Conestoga and step deck equipment to haul freight safely across regional and long-haul lanes
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring equipment is in safe operating condition
Secure, tarp, and protect cargo according to DOT and company safety standards
Maintain accurate logs, trip records, and electronic logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations
Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding ETAs, delays, and delivery requirements
Follow all DOT, state, and federal regulations, plus Turquoise Trucking safety policies
Care for assigned truck and trailer, reporting maintenance needs promptly
Represent Turquoise Trucking professionally with customers, vendors, and the motoring public
CDL Class A driving
Flatbed/step deck load securement
Conestoga trailer operations
FMCSA/DOT compliance
Electronic logging systems (ELDs)
Trip planning and routing
Tarping and cargo protection
Vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
Time management for OTR schedules
Customer and dispatcher communication
Valid CDL Class A license
Clean MVR and safe driving record
Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations
TWIC card preferred
Experience with flatbed or step deck load securement preferred
