Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. Duties Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Safely load and unload freight at designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and freight transported. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Ensure that cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Skills Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. Experience with truck driving, particularly in operating tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures. Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roadways. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
