OTR Cargo Van Driver

Job Summary As an OTR (over-the-road) Cargo Van Driver, you’ll move shipments safely and reliably between pickup and delivery locations. You’ll handle loading and unloading, follow assigned routes, and provide professional service at each stop. This role suits a dependable driver who is comfortable with travel, physical work, and changing delivery needs. Responsibilities Drive a cargo van on over-the-road routes and complete deliveries on schedule. Load and unload shipments; use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when needed. Secure cargo and apply safe lifting practices when moving heavy items. Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Use mobile devices for route details, delivery updates, and customer communication. Your impact: Careful driving and accurate deliveries help customers receive their shipments safely and on time. Skills Required: Valid driving qualifications for the assigned vehicle, safe driving habits, and ability to perform manual handling and workplace weight-handling tasks. Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, commercial driving, commercial truck driving, route driving, or personal vehicle delivery experience. Experience with warehouse operations, warehouse work, box trucks, delivery driving, and load-and-unload tasks is helpful. Familiarity with manual transmission, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment operation is a plus. Strong customer service, attention to traffic regulations, and commitment to safe lifting practices.
