OTR Car Hauler Driver

Job Overview As an OTR Car Hauler Driver, you’ll transport automobiles safely and efficiently on over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll operate a commercial truck, plan routes with GPS navigation, and handle vehicle loading and unloading. This paid position calls for careful driving, dependable delivery, and attention to cargo and equipment. Duties Drive automobile transportation routes and complete deliveries while following Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles; use safe manual handling practices and protect freight throughout each trip. Inspect and operate assigned equipment, including a car-hauling trailer; report vehicle, trailer, or cargo concerns promptly. Use GPS navigation to plan route driving, monitor progress, and communicate delivery updates as required. Your impact: Safe vehicle handling and on-time delivery help customers receive their automobiles in good condition. Experience Required: Commercial truck driving and commercial driving experience, a valid commercial driver’s license preferably 3 years experience minimum. Required: Knowledge of truck driving, delivery driving, tractor-trailer operation, load securement, and applicable DOT and FMCSA rules. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, logistics cargo handling, and familiarity with freight operations.
