Pay: $150–$175 per working day, based on experienceSchedule: Approximately 10–12 working hours per day, depending on assignmentsLocation: Norristown, PA – Interstate TravelPosition: Contract / Route-Based Assignments Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a 16-foot commercial box truck. Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries punctually. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Properly secure freight and operate liftgate equipment. Handle loading and unloading when required by the assignment. Maintain consistent communication with dispatch. Complete bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and other paperwork. Report delays, vehicle damage, accidents, and mechanical issues immediately. Follow applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain a professional attitude with customers and warehouse personnel. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience. 2 or more years of commercial driving experience preferred. Previous interstate or OTR experience preferred. Valid DOT medical certificate, when required. Experience operating liftgates and pallet jacks. Ability to travel overnight and complete multi-day assignments. Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additional Information This position requires accountability, dependable attendance, proper equipment handling, and timely communication.
