OTR Box Truck Driver – Non-CDL - 20% of Gross + Weekly Revenue Bonuses + OTR Bonuses Company: EMONT LOGISTICS Position: OTR Box Truck Driver – Non-CDL Equipment: 26-Foot Freightliner Box Truck Job Type: Full-Time / Over-the-Road Home Base: Miami, Florida Travel: Interstate / Nationwide EMONT LOGISTICS is looking for a dependable, professional, and safety-focused OTR Box Truck Driver to operate our 26-foot non-CDL box truck throughout the United States. This is an over-the-road position , not a local delivery job. Drivers must be comfortable traveling across state lines, spending extended periods on the road, communicating regularly with dispatch, and managing pickups and deliveries professionally. Our goal is to keep the truck moving consistently while maintaining safe operations, excellent communication, and dependable service for our customers and freight partners. The ideal driver understands that successful OTR trucking requires more than simply driving. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for the truck, communicates delays immediately, protects the freight, follows Hours-of-Service requirements, and represents EMONT LOGISTICS professionally at every shipper and receiver. Compensation Drivers are paid based on the gross revenue generated by the truck. Base Driver Pay: 20% of weekly truck gross revenue Weekly Revenue Performance Bonuses: Truck grosses $6,000 in a week: Additional $100 bonus Truck grosses $7,000 in a week: Additional $200 bonus Truck grosses $8,000 or more in a week: Additional $300 bonus OTR Stay-Out Bonuses Drivers who remain on the road for extended periods may also qualify for additional bonuses: 3 consecutive weeks OTR: Additional $250 4 consecutive weeks OTR: Additional $500 Performance bonuses are designed to reward drivers who stay available, communicate well with dispatch, safely complete loads, and help keep the truck productive. Weekly earnings will vary depending on freight availability, miles, truck revenue, driver availability, market conditions, and completed loads. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot Freightliner M2 box truck with automatic transmission . Transport freight throughout Florida and across state lines. Remain available for OTR assignments that may require being away from home for extended periods. Complete pickups and deliveries according to dispatch instructions and appointment times. Maintain communication with dispatch throughout each load. Immediately report traffic delays, mechanical issues, accidents, freight problems, detention, or delivery issues. Follow all applicable FMCSA, DOT, Hours-of-Service, and ELD requirements . Properly use the Motive ELD system for driver logs, vehicle inspections, GPS, and compliance. Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Perform and document Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports when required. Secure freight properly using straps, load bars, pallet jacks, and other cargo-securing equipment. Inspect freight before departure and report damaged or improperly loaded freight. Protect freight from shifting or damage while in transit. Assist with loading and unloading when required. Safely operate the truck’s liftgate when necessary. Maintain Bills of Lading, Proof of Delivery documents, receipts, scale tickets, and other transportation paperwork. Obtain signed PODs and submit documentation promptly after delivery. Follow truck-safe GPS routing and avoid restricted roads, low-clearance bridges, and roads unsuitable for commercial vehicles. Maintain awareness of the truck’s height, weight, dimensions, and operating limitations. Keep the truck cab and cargo area clean and organized. Monitor fuel, DEF, tires, fluids, warning lights, and general vehicle condition. Notify management immediately of maintenance or safety concerns.
