OTR Box truck driver - 26 foot Box truck

Overview Atlas Legacy Logistics is hiring dependable, safety-focused OTR Box Truck Drivers for regional and nationwide routes. We are looking for professional drivers who communicate well, protect customer freight, follow instructions, and take pride in delivering excellent service. Candidates must be comfortable staying on the road for extended periods and maintaining regular communication with dispatch. Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck on regional and nationwide routes. Pick up and deliver freight on time while following customer and dispatch instructions. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Report to all scheduled maintenance and service appointments on time. Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all applicable DOT and Hours-of-Service regulations. Provide dispatch with regular updates, including arrival, departure, delay, and delivery information. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, brokers, shippers, receivers, and customers. Properly secure freight using straps, load bars, blankets, and other required equipment. Inspect freight at pickup and delivery and immediately report shortages, overages, damages, or cargo concerns. Obtain and promptly submit signed Bills of Lading, Proofs of Delivery, receipts, and other required documents. Track and document detention time, delays, breakdowns, and delivery-related issues. Keep the truck clean, organized, and in safe operating condition. Follow company safety procedures, customer requirements, and all federal, state, and local regulations. Protect company equipment, customer freight, and confidential shipment information. Represent Atlas Legacy Logistics with professionalism, integrity, accountability, and respect. Experience Minimum of 2 years OTR, regional, expedited freight, or box truck driving experience is required. Experience operating a 26-foot box truck is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record. Must have a valid DOT Medical Certificate. Must be able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours-of-Service requirements, and electronic logging devices is preferred. Experience securing and handling palletized, high-value, time-sensitive, or expedited freight is a plus. Must be comfortable using a smartphone, GPS navigation, electronic logging systems, and mobile document-scanning applications. Must be able to safely lift, move, or assist with freight and equipment when required. Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Must demonstrate professional communication, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills. Must be willing and able to remain on the road for extended periods based on assigned routes.
