OTR 26' Box Truck Driver | $900 Weekly Starting Pay + Bonuses

JOB SUMMARY T&L Freight & Logistics is seeking a dependable, safety-minded and professional OTR Box Truck Driver to join our growing transportation company. We are building T&L around a simple philosophy: drivers should be treated like valued members of the company, not just another truck number. RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a 26-foot box truck throughout OTR and regional routes Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate ELD and Hours-of-Service records when applicable Properly secure freight using E-track, straps, load bars and other equipment Inspect freight before leaving pickup locations Maintain BOLs, PODs and other shipment documentation Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays and equipment issues Maintain professional communication with brokers, shippers, receivers and customers Keep company equipment clean and properly maintained Follow DOT/FMCSA regulations and all company safety policies Protect freight from loss, shifting and damage Immediately report accidents, freight damage, mechanical problems or safety concerns COMPENSATION Starting Pay: $900 per week - MINIMUM 2,700 MILES (Total, not just loaded) Drivers will have opportunities to earn additional compensation through our performance and bonus programs, including: Mileage/Productivity Bonuses Quarterly Safety Bonus Annual Safety Bonus for maintaining an excellent safety record throughout the year Anniversary Bonuses Driver Referral Bonuses Additional performance incentives as the company grows Exact earnings will depend on mileage, productivity, freight availability and eligibility for applicable bonuses. SCHEDULE & HOME TIME This is an OTR position , not a home-daily position. We understand that every driver's situation is different, so we believe in discussing home-time expectations individually rather than forcing every driver into the same schedule. Potential schedules may include: 10–14 days OTR with scheduled home time 3 weeks OTR / 1 week home Extended OTR schedules for drivers who prefer maximizing miles and earnings Regional opportunities when available We value family and personal time and will make reasonable efforts to work with drivers on planned home time. REQUIREMENTS Previous 26-foot box truck experience OTR driving experience( ****MINIMUM 2 WEEKS OUT*** ) Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Current DOT Medical Card Knowledge of HOS and ELD procedures Freight securement experience Liftgate and pallet-jack experience Experience with BOLs and PODs Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently while OTR CDL-A or CDL-B is welcomed but is not required for our non-CDL equipment. Additional credentials such as TWIC, HazMat, OSHA-10, defensive-driving training, forklift certification and cargo-securement training are considered a plus. No load or delivery deadline is more important than the safety of our drivers, our customers and the motoring public. EMPLOYMENT STRUCTURE The position is expected to begin under an independent-contractor arrangement, subject to the requirements applicable to the working relationship.
