We are currently hiring TWO experienced Orthodontic Assistants to join our founding clinical team! We are seeking dependable, motivated professionals who are confident in their clinical abilities, enjoy working collaboratively, and are excited about helping build a growing practice from the ground up. About the Positions This is an excellent opportunity for experienced orthodontic assistants who take pride in their clinical skills, demonstrate initiative, and enjoy being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment. As founding members of our clinical team, you will work closely with Dr. Bonebreak and play an important role in establishing efficient clinical workflows and maintaining our high standards of patient care. We are especially interested in candidates who are comfortable helping train and mentor future team members , including sterilization technicians who are interested in advancing into orthodontic assisting roles. Anticipated Start Date: We expect both positions to begin in January 2027 at the latest, with the possibility of starting as early as December 2026 if construction is completed sooner. Responsibilities Assist Dr. Bonebreak with orthodontic procedures, including bonding, debonding, adjustments, and Invisalign appointments. Perform permitted clinical duties within the scope of Texas dental regulations and under appropriate supervision. Take digital scans, impressions, photographs, and diagnostic records. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures. Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, elastics, retainers, and treatment instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Help establish and maintain organized, efficient clinical workflows. Assist with inventory management and clinical supply organization. Help train and mentor future clinical team members, including sterilization technicians progressing toward orthodontic assisting roles, consistent with applicable licensing and supervision requirements. Work collaboratively with the doctor and team to ensure patients receive exceptional care. Qualifications Required: Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) registration. Current dental X-ray certification/authorization. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on orthodontic assisting experience. Strong knowledge of orthodontic instruments, materials, procedures, and infection control protocols. Experience with bonding, debonding, wire changes, and routine orthodontic appointments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a clinical environment. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-oriented practice. Highly Preferred: 3+ years of orthodontic assisting experience.
