HOTEL PUERTO VALDESOverview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Organizador de Almacen to join our logistics and warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory control, and heavy equipment operation will ensure smooth flow of materials, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced distribution center dedicated to excellence in logistics management. Responsibilities Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse using inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS). Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling with manual handling techniques and mechanical knowledge. Conduct stock stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving activities to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Implement safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards; utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Manage inventory levels through regular cycle counts and inventory audits; utilize RF scanners and AS400 systems for precise tracking. Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating materials handling, packaging, and order fulfillment tasks to optimize workflow. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, RF scanners, and AS400 platforms. Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards; committed to maintaining a safe working environment through proper PPE use and safety protocol adherence. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate heavy machinery safely; basic math skills for inventory counting and measurements. Experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles within manufacturing or distribution environments. Familiarity with logistics processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, load & unload operations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety procedures; construction or manufacturing experience is a plus.
