Order selector

Job Summary As an Order Selector, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by accurately picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and a warehouse management system (WMS) to locate, handle, and track inventory while following safety and quality procedures. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products and supports reliable warehouse distribution. Responsibilities Pick orders using an order picker, reach truck, cherry picker, forklift, or pallet jack as authorized. Scan barcodes with a radio-frequency (RF) scanner and update inventory management systems. Pack and label products, check order accuracy, and prepare shipments for dispatch. Load and unload materials; move, stock, and organize products using safe materials-handling practices. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and report inventory or quality issues. Qualifications Warehouse experience, including order picking, picking and packing, packaging, shipping and receiving, or inventory management, is helpful. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, and to use material-handling equipment safely. Basic math skills and attention to detail for quantity checks, barcode scanning, and quality control. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and warehouse operations is preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment or serving as a warehouse supervisor is a plus; follow required equipment authorization and site safety procedures. Pay: $24.78 - $29.84 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Houston, TX
