Order Selector

The Order Selector works in the Purchasing Department Food & Beverage Grocery Store to assist with shipping and receiving, maintaining grocery/beverage inventory and sanitation of the department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Responsible for product integrity, load accuracy, safe transfer, and storage of all products in the department. Performs receiving and shipping duties; interacts with truck driver/delivery services. Stocks storeroom shelves and fills food and bar requisitions. Responsible for all departmental sanitation and organization. Ensures product quality and temperature storage standards. Able to work independently and as part of the purchasing team. Follow inventory control standards of the DAC Purchasing Department. Organization and sorting of returnable products. Other duties as assigned. Minimum age of 18 required. High school degree or GED required. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift 50 pounds is required. Dependable, hardworking, detail oriented and a team player. Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions is required. Must be able to repetitively stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stack, and walk. Ability to tolerate temperature-controlled areas. Ensure departmental sanitation standards are consistently maintained. Must possess good interpersonal skills, relate well to others and be able to build and sustain effective work relationships is required. Knowledge of basic inventory practices is helpful. Able to do minimal desk work is helpful. Intermediate computer and spread sheet knowledge are helpful.
