Order Processing Team Member

Our locally owned book and media distribution company in Central Texas, is seeking a detail-oriented Order Processing team member. In this full-time, in-person position, you'll play an essential part in processing orders, submitting bids, entering accurate data, and providing thoughtful service to our government, education, and corporate customers. What You’ll Do: Serve as a point of contact between customers and suppliers, helping ensure the accurate, timely, and smooth processing of orders. Gather and verify pricing and availability from vendors, clearly communicating updates both internally and externally. Input and maintain accurate data, keeping our records precise and current. Process expedited and special orders, using your problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected challenges. Communicate proactively by phone and email with vendors and customers, ensuring all parties are informed on order status and availability. Complete and submit bids, in an accurate and timely manner. What We’re Looking For: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy. Able to prioritize effectively, while juggling multiple tasks. Strong written and verbal communicator - friendly, professional, and reliable in all interactions. Experience building trusted relationships with customers and vendors, ideally in a B2B, wholesale, government, or educational procurement environment.
