Order Processing Specialist

Job Overview As an Order Processing Specialist, you’ll keep orders moving accurately from entry through shipment. You’ll coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams, update inventory and order records, and support smooth warehouse distribution. Your impact: Accurate order processing helps customers receive the right products while giving warehouse teams clear, timely instructions. Duties Enter and verify orders using a warehouse management system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, materials requirements planning (MRP) tools, or AS400, as applicable. Check inventory, support inventory management, and complete data entry using Microsoft Office and inventory management software. Coordinate shipping logistics, shipping and receiving, and trade compliance with applicable international trade regulations. Support warehouse operations and order fulfillment by stocking, packaging, picking and packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Use an order picker, forklift, or pallet jack as authorized; load and unload goods while following safe handling procedures. Requirements Basic math, accurate data entry, attention to detail, and customer service skills. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution, logistics, inventory management, and order picking. Ability to learn relevant warehouse management, inventory management, and ERP software; experience with MRP or AS400 is useful. Familiarity with shipping and receiving, shipping logistics, trade compliance, or international trade regulations is preferred. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers is preferred; operate equipment only when trained and authorized.
